Windows Central editor Jez Corden also recently published a preview for tomorrow's Xbox & Bethesda Showcase, which included a rumor that Diablo IV would be featured alongside other third-party developer presentations, so we may be in store for even bigger news tomorrow at 1pm Eastern. Still, we do know that company-wide internal testing has been ongoing since at least April of this year and we should be due for another quarterly update any time now. By contrast, Shadowlands beta sign ups started in February 2020, about 5 months before beta testing began, so there's not much consistency in timing.
The most recent Diablo Immortal pre-registration began in April, well after the test period and about two months before the game released worldwide. Unfortunately, there's still no word on when exactly that testing may start, and this announcement doesn't give us much room to speculate. Pre-registration for Diablo IV beta testing is now available! To sign up, make sure to visit and log in using your normal Blizzard account information, then simply click the Pre-Register button and look for the green text to make sure you've entered.
